Blending of Business Requirements and Technology
Recent migration for the Pennsylvania State Police Intranet involved not only leveraging a new platform using SharePoint 2010, but also looking at the business practices and content delivery structure of the organization.
This structure was previously built upon the organizational structure of the Department. The migration involved changing the site and 'culture' to becoming a more service orientated structure/content delivery. Less knowing "Who" is responsible and more knowing "How to do it".
While utilizing the SharePoint 2010 technology LS Digital Solutions took the approach of reviewing business practices and workflow and the business analysis of those practices before providing a technology solution. This helped to bring the current business processes into current technology solutions.
